Is Foursquare Moving Beyond the 'Early Adopter' Phase?

In a 2010 recap infographic posted today, Foursquare announced that more than six million people have signed up for accounts with the location-based site. Some other interesting details:

-There were more than 381.5 million check-ins last year.

-Sometime just after noon and between about 4pm and 6pm are peak times for check ins.

-MTV, Bravo, and the History Channel are among the most popular brand pages.

-New York is a popular place for check-ins, with NYC locations on the top lists for train stations (Penn Station), hotels (Ace Hotel), music venues (Terminal 5 and Mercury Lounge), and food and drink locations (Union Square Greenmarket).
