Huggies Cleans Up Claims of 'Glass' in Its Baby Wipes

No, there isn't glass or fiberglass in the wipes...

After parents took to social media to post photos of what appeared to be glass-like shards in their Huggies baby wipes, panic ensued.

It was an overnight PR crisis for the baby product brand.

As more and more photos, videos, complaints, and questions circulated, Huggies released a statement assuring parents that glass is never used in the production of the wipes, but that the company takes the concerns very seriously and would be testing the wipes to determine exactly what was going on.

Later that day, the brand posted an updated statement to its Facebook page, which read in part:

Update: Huggies Parents, Thank you for your continued patience.
