HP VP of Global Comms. Leaving To Start Agency

Tips started coming in to PRNewser recently regarding this news and now it looks to be true: David Shane, VP of global corporate communications for HP, is leaving the company to start his own agency. HP CMO Michael Mendenhall will serve in the position in the interim, PRWeek reports.

Shane joined HP in July 2008 from Weber Shandwick, where he was senior vice president of the Corporate Issues and Entertainment Practices in Los Angeles.
