Gowalla Integrates with Foursquare
Gowalla has released the latest version of its iPhone app, which includes new features and an integration with its location-based app rival Foursquare.
With Foursquare, Gowalla check-ins will now be posted on Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook Places, and Foursquare; users will get Foursquare Tips when they check-in; and you can earn Foursquare badges and Facebook Deals. Mashable also reports on some of the other changes, such as a new look and layout.
Gowalla CEO Josh Williams tells Mashable that the company intends to be a “socially curated guidebook” rather than another place for deals or games.
