Google’s SVP of engineering Vic Gundotra has announced on the Google blog that Google+ pages for business and brands are “rolling out worldwide.”
The post offers a few examples of brand pages that are already live (The Muppets brand page will feature a live Hangout with Kermit and Miss Piggy today at 4:30p.m. PT). And there will be more bells and whistles to come, like Direct Connect.
As Search Engine Land points out, most brands haven’t been permitted on Google+ for the past few months.
