Gawker Event to Support Marriage Equality
Gawker is hosting a fundraising event Wednesday June 22 on the roof of its Soho offices to benefit the Empire State Pride Agenda Foundation,an LGBT advocacy and civil rights group, and its efforts to make gay marriage legal in New York.
A marriage equality measure is back on the agenda for the state, and has the support of Gov. Andrew Cuomo as well as many New Yorkers.
Five tickets to the event will cost $3,000 and they have a site for individual
