Frequent Twitter Users More Likely to Buy
A new report from ExactTarget titled “Subscribers, Fans, and Followers” found that daily Twitter users who follow a brand are more than twice as likely to purchase than Facebook users who “like” that brand. A third of Twitter followers also said they were more likely to make a recommendation after following a brand, versus 21 percent of Facebook fans and 24 percent of email subscribers.
