Now you have something to look forward to when you finally take off.
Seven airlines – Virgin America, AirTran, United, American, Delta, US Airways and Alaska Airlines – are offering free Facebook access as part of a special promotion from Gogo Inflight Internet. You still have to pay for other Web services and the service is available on North American flights for just this month. (We’ll take what we can get.)
According to USA Today, e-mail is the top task on Gogo, but Facebook is the most visited site.
