Disney Corp Comms Assistant Pleads Guilty

Bonnie Hoxie, former assistant to Walt Disney corporate communications head Zenia Mucha, has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and wire fraud and one count of wire fraud. Part of the plea agreement calls for four to 10 months in jail when she’s sentenced on December 21. Hoxie’s arrest in May with her boyfriend Yonni Sebbag made front page news. According to Bloomberg, Hoxie admitted to passing information about Disney’s earnings to Sebbag, who pleaded guilty to wire fraud and conspiracy charges in August.
