Development of HTML 5 Will Include Public Review

The new Web language HTML 5 is only in limited use, but privacy issues are already surfacing, according to The New York Times.

HTML 5, the newest version of Hypertext Markup Language, which is used to create websites, has features that will collect and store large amounts of data while Web users are online. Experts say the data, which can include photos, e-mails, and shopping cart contents that are useful to marketers, can be stored for long periods of time.
