Burson-Marsteller Hires More Staffers from San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom's PR Team
Are you looking to sway policy decisions or get the ear of San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom? You should consider hiring Burson-Marsteller, since the agency has basically hired his entire PR staff.
The latest departure is Erin Garvey, Newsom’s deputy press secretary, who just joined Burson’s San Francisco office as manager in the issues and crisis group.
She reunites with Newsom’s former communication’s director, Nathan Ballard, who joined Burson this past March. Brian Purchia left his post as Newsom’s deputy communications director and tech advisor to join Burson in April.
