Best Buy, GRAMMY Foundation, Rascal Flatts Partner to 'Give Harmony'

Best Buy, the GRAMMY Foundation, and country music band Rascal Flatts have partnered for “Give Harmony,” a philanthropic campaign to benefit high school music programs in the U.S.

Shoppers who purchase a select group of items through January 1, 2011 help with the “Give Harmony” donation of up to $825,000. Among the items are a Samsung no-contract Boost Mobile phone, Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, and the Rascal Flatts album “Nothing Like This.”

The initiative is part of Best Buy’s @15 program, a charitable program aimed at teens.

The vendors and items selected for the program were chosen because they are “relevant for teens,” Jessica Haider, associate manager for Best Buy community relations told us via e-mail.
