In the second installment of our Media Beat interview with Frank Rich, the New York magazine columnist, he talks about the mechanics of his job and dealing with the inevitable criticism. In fact, the “Butcher of Broadway” says, “You have to tune out the praise and the criticism.”

“If you start to think, ‘Will people like me?,’ you’ll never have an opinion about anything,” he adds.
