AQuantive's Avenue A/Razorfish has promoted associate media director Brian Krick to director of search engine marketing. At the same time, Joshua Palau has advanced from business development manager to group director of search engine marketing, according to Katy Thorbahn, senior vice president and general manager. Krick will be responsible for developing paid search marketing strategies and managing day-to-day operations at the shop's Philadelphia office. Palau will manage search engine optimization operations. The agency does interactive work for Kraft, Dell, The New York Times and Starwood Hotels, among others.
