DALLAS Mission Pharmacal has hired Moroch Partners as the advertising agency for its consumer products division that markets Citracal, Thera-Gesic and other nutritional supplements, the shop said.
Moroch, a Dallas-based independent, will manage brand planning, creative development, interactive services and promotional marketing services, the agency said. Moroch's subsidiary, NEXT Media, will handle media planning and buying. The combined spending of the Mission brands is estimated at more than $20 million.
"Our products are leading brands in their categories," said Neill B. Walsdorf Jr., president of San Antonio-based Mission Pharmacal. "Moroch Partners' proven track record with blue-chip national brands and creating consumer connections will move the Citracal and Thera-Gesic brands to the next level."
One of the shop's first assignments will be using its proprietary discovery process for brand building, the Science of Greatness, on Citracal, said Tom Moroch, founder and chairman of the agency.
"Mission has an entrepreneurial spirit like ours," Moroch said. "Their brands are well poised to take advantage of the demographic trends."
