NEW YORK Executives from Draft, Wunderman, Grey and MRM Partners will represent the U.S. as jurors in the direct marketing category of the International Advertising Festival in Cannes.
In Cannes, France, Lor Gold, executive vice president and chief creative officer of Draft in Chicago, and Joel Sobelson, executive vice president and chief creative officer of Wunderman in New York, will serve on the 21-person jury, headed by Fred Koblinger, who is chief executive officer of BBDO Holding Austria in Vienna and managing partner of Palla Koblinger Proximity, also in Vienna.
A preliminary round of judging, before the festival, will take place in May remotely and will be judged by a separate, 30-person jury. Richard Shuback, executive vice president and executive creative director of Grey Direct in New York, and Richard Eber, chief creative director of MRM Partners in New York, will serve on this jury.
Winners will be named on June 21 during the festival, which will take place June 19-25.
