DALLAS The TransSynergy Group has picked up four new public relations clients: ACR Retail, iTKO, WOOT.com and Xterprise, the company said.
The Dallas-based firm, which specializes in marketing and public relations services, acquired the four accounts without a review, according to Roy Miller, TransSynergy's vice president of public relations.
"ACR, iTKO, WOOT.com and Xterprise came to us as referrals from business colleagues and existing clients," Miller said. "None of them has ever hired a marketing or PR agency before, but we have worked in each of their industries, so they recognize we're really interested in identifying their marketing challenges and then figuring out which road they should travel."
TransSynergy has been charged with providing national media relations to ACR Retail, a Jacksonville, Fla., specialist in point-of-sale systems and services, and iTKO, a Southlake, Texas-based supplier of software products and services.
In addition, the shop will make available national media relations and marketing services to WOOT.com, an online consumer electronics store in Carrollton, Texas, and Xterprise, a Dallas provider of radio frequency identification systems and services.
Led by Miller, TransSynergy's PR division was formed in July 2002 to offer clients a full mix of marketing disciplines. Other clients joining the firm in the last six months include Frito-Lay, CDR Assessment Group and Ultimate Ventures.
"We've been able to more than double our PR revenue in 2004," said Miller. "Our approach is welcomed and accepted because clients know we're not there to sell them just PR or just a brochure."
Fees for the four new accounts are undisclosed.
