"The word 'America' was misspelled in the headline of a client's ad." "We recommended a spokesperson who was dead." "We didn't recognize the client's president when he was in the building." "An account executive thought he had put the phone on mute—but had not—and was talking about the client." "A co-worker sprayed the presentation board with insecticide instead of adhesive." "I heard of someone who dropped an X-acto knife on her foot but was too busy to stop and take it out."
Days after announcing "Sports Criminals Night" that St. Louis minor-league baseball team the River City Rascals canceled the promotion. "Our intent wasn't to honor or celebrate any criminal acts that were committed or alleged by a professional athlete, and was actually an attempt to identify how the media has changed in recent years as a result of these incidents," a Rascals rep said in a release. "We apologize to anyone who was upset by this planned night."
