BOSTON BigBad said it has been chosen for interactive marketing chores by notable clients in the fields of higher education, research, and the arts.
The American Institutes for Research in Washington, D.C., has hired the agency for Web site strategy and redesign. Occidental College in Los Angeles has contracted the shop for similar duties, as well as content management system implementation.
Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., has tapped BigBad to develop a visual identity system development.
Also on tap: Web work for the Boston-based New England Foundation for the Arts.
The assignments are important for the independent Boston agency because they enhance the shop's reputation with higher-education concerns and nonprofit companies nationwide, said Ty Glasgow, president of BigBad.
