CHICAGO Window maker Hurd Millwork Company named Lindsay, Stone & Briggs its lead agency after a review of undisclosed contenders, the client confirmed.
The Madison, Wis., agency's duties will include print advertising, trade outreach, public relations and internal communications. Spending was expected to be more than $1 million, according to Hans Vetter, director of business development for the Medford, Wis., company.
"Lindsay, Stone & Briggs has an in-depth knowledge of the window industry and has shown us a strong commitment to building the Hurd brand with our dealers and custom residential builders," Vetter said in a release.
Hurd's account had previously been with Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis. The shop split with the client in August. A print campaign from the agency stressed the company's craftsmanship, integrity and product value. LSB's first work is expected in January.
