DALLAS Clients of Bromley Communications and Dieste Harmel & Partners were among the finalists named for the Association of National Advertisers 2003 Multicultural Excellence Awards.
The third annual competition recognizes ANA member companies that have produced outstanding multicultural advertising campaigns between June 2002 and May 2003.
Five advertisers were finalists in the Hispanic category: Pepsi, Clorox Co.'s Glad, Procter & Gambel's Crest with Scope, American Airlines and the California Lottery.
Omnicom's Dieste in Dallas handles Pepsi and Glad. Crest is at Publicis Groupe's Bromley in San Antonio. Zubi Advertising in Coral Gables, Fla., is responsible for American Airlines. Casanova Pendrill in Irvine, Calif., represents the California Lottery.
Another Bromley client, Payless ShoeSource, was nominated in the category of "campaign with significant results."
Winners of the competition will be announced at the ANA Multicultural Marketing Conference in Key Biscayne, Fla., that begins Nov. 2.
