BOSTON McCarthy Mambro Bertino is preparing a multifaceted campaign, set to begin in September, promoting five new Atari Dragon Ball Z titles.
Ads from the Boston-based independent will center around players dominating their friends as characters from the popular video game series. A tagline is in development.
In addition, a pair of 30-second spots are being created to support the December launch of Budokai 2 for Playstation 2 and another for the October debut of Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance.
The client spent more than $30 million on ads in 2002, per TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
