Quantum Leap Communications, the Internet design and marketing arm of Leapnet, has won e-commerce development projects from Wal-Mart Stores and its Sam's Club subsidiary, the agency said. Billings were not disclosed.
The Wal-Mart project involves the development of a travel service for the Bentonville, Ark., retailer. For Sam's, Chicago-based Quantum Leap is expected to develop and serve as a consultant for the company's e-commerce site.
Separately, Quantum Leap last month said it had new assignments from Microsoft. The shop is developing sites for the company's Encarta reference products, and is also backing a promotion called "Cyber Savings" between Microsoft and General Mills that runs through the end of the month. --Trevor Jensen
