Richmond, Va.-based Taylor Weirup Advertising has increased its billings by more than 20 percent in the last 12 weeks with five new accounts, reported president Michael Sanfilippo.
Billings have gone from $5 million to $6.3 million 'without a single agency review,' Sanfilippo said.
TWA has acquired the business of Retirement Unlimited, Roanoke, Va. The shop, which initially did some local work for the client, now has the entire corporate account of 30 nursing homes and 15 retirement communities throughout the state.
The agency's four new hometown accounts are: Rehrig International; HELP 2000, a home energy loan program; Mulligan's Sports Bar & Grille; and project work for MediaOne, formerly Continental Cablevision. --Nora FitzGerald
