[1] Tenacious D are finally getting the recognition they deserve—in the form of a bronze Cyber Lion [2] at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes, for the Pick of Destiny Web site. The agency, Tequila in Sydney, Australia, got well into the spirit of the D: “We asked ourselves what would Tenacious D, the self proclaimed greatest rock band in the world, do to the conventional digital space? The idea for the campaign was simple: Create the greatest Web site in the world, and use it to spread the message of rock across the shores of the Internet.” Check out a demo of the site here [3], and the actual site here [4].
