Dennis Welsh is moving from Dallas to Orlando to take on new responsibilities as vp and general manager of WOFL and WRBW, Fox Television's owned-and-operated and MyNetworkTV stations in Orlando. For the past eight years, Welsh served as vp and director of sales for Fox's Dallas duopoly—O&O KDFW (Fox Sports Net Southwest) and KDFI, the MyNetwork TV station and WOGX, the Fox O&O in Gainesville, Fla.

Prior to Dallas, Welsh spent one year as vp and director of sales for Fox station sales in New York. He's also held sales positions with several stations around the country. He began his career as a national sales account executive at Branham Newspaper Sales in New York.

"Dennis has proven over the last 13 years that he is a strong leader who knows how to deliver successful results. His creativity make him an invaluable asset to FTS and the ideal person to lead WOFL and WRBW," said Jack Abernethy, CEO of Fox Television Stations, to whom Welsh reports.
