The Upfront: Record $80 Mil. Univision-Zubi Deal Sets Stage for Solid Hispanic TV Market

The Hispanic TV upfront was much more active for top-rated Spanish-language network Univision than No. 2 Telemundo last week, with Univision completing a record-setting, $80 million cross-platform deal with Hispanic media agency Zubi Advertising. The net also expected to finalize deals with two mainstream agencies by early this week.

Telemundo said it had done some upfront deals by last week’s end, but has opted not to disclose those upfront deals at deadline.
