Univision's Rodriguez to Retire

Univision Communications said Friday that president and COO Ray Rodriguez will retire from the company at the end of the year after nearly 20 years at the Spanish-language broadcaster.

Univision CEO Joe Uva will take on the additional title of president from Rodriguez.

In addition, Cesar Conde, 35, most recently exec vp and chief strategy officer, will become president of the Univision Networks, effective Oct. 1. He will be based in Miami and continue to report to Uva.
