Sophomore syndicated talk show The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, hosted by Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, will end production in June. Original episodes will air through the summer.

“We are very proud of The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet,” said Bob Cook, president and chief operating officer of Twentieth Television. “Over the past two years, we set out to produce a high-quality show that provided viewers with an engaging source of entertainment. We believe we accomplished this goal. Unfortunately, the current serious economic conditions made it challenging to continue producing the type of unique program that we wanted to deliver.”

Season to-date through Dec. 28, 2008, The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet ranks 12th out of 13 syndicated talkers, with a 0.8 household rating, according to Nielsen Media Research data. Compared to one year earlier, that is a decrease of 11 percent. Results among key women 25-54 (0.5) are down by 17 percent.
