Abby Auerbach, the Television Bureau of Advertising executive vp who led the organization’s initiative to speed electronic commerce in spot TV, has been promoted to executive vp and chief marketing officer.

In her new position, Auerbach is charged with helping to oversee the evolution of the TVB into a more focused selling organization.”

“It is very clear to me that Abby is the perfect fit for that job,” said Steve Lanzano, the TVB’s new president.

Auerbach joined the TVB in June 2000 as senior vp of marketing and quickly promoted four months later to executive vp.
