Tribune announced a deal with the National Football League Thursday (June 3) to carry six late-season NFL Network games on eight of its TV stations.

By NFL policy, ESPN and NFL Network games are carried on free, over-the-air TV in the city of the visiting team and in the city where the game is played if it is sold out 72 hours in advance of kickoff.

Tribune stations will carry the NFL Network telecast as part of the local team’s Thursday Night Football game.
