Tribune Consolidates Chicago Ops Management

Now that the Tribune has consolidated the operations of WGN-TV and CLTV into the same facility in Chicago, it’s consolidating the management. Marty Wilke, vp and general manager of WGN-TV, Tribune’s CW affiliate in Chicago, will also oversee CLTV, Tribune’s cable news station, the company announced Thursday (April 29).

Steve Farber, who has served as CLTV’s general manager since 2006, also takes on expanded responsibilities as vp of operations for both stations. In addition, Farber will take on special projects for Tribune Broadcasting and the TV station group.
