TargetSpot has added eight radio groups to its growing Internet radio advertising network. With the latest additions, announced Tuesday (Jan. 13), TargetSpot represents the Web sites of more than 1,000 radio stations, both terrestrial and online-only.

Radio companies joining the TargetSpot network include: Air America Media, Millennium Radio, Access 1 Communications, Sandusky Radio, Stephens Media Group, Simmons Media Group, Ocala Broadcasting and BlogTalkRadio.

This latest expansion follows TargetSpot’s acquisition in October 2008 of online rep firm Ronning Lipset Radio, which created the largest online audio ad network in radio, offering advertisers national, regional and local buys via a single online platform.
