WHDH-TV, Sunbeam Television’s NBC affiliate in Boston, promoted Chris Wayland general manager to replace the troubled Randi Goldklank, who resigned following assault and battery charges she incurred after a liquor-laced episode at the airport.
Most recently general sales manager, Wayland’s first day in his new position will be Nov. 1.
Since Goldklank resigned in June, Mike Carson, the station’s general manager prior to Goldklank, had served as acting general manager.
