Red Zebra Buys Three D.C. Radio Stations From Clear Channel

Red Zebra Broadcasting, the broadcasting group formed by Washington, Redskins owner Dan Snyder, has agreed to buy three radio stations in Washington, D.C. from Clear Channel for undisclosed terms, several sources reported Wednesday (June 4). The stations, Sports/Talk WTEM-AM, News/Talk WTNT-AM and News/Talk WWRC-AM will bring Red Zebra’s station portfolio up to 9 stations. The company also owns three other stations in Washington, D.C. purchased in early 2006, and one station each in Richmond, Norfolk/Virginia Beach, and Hampton, Va.
