CBS has yanked recently introduced Friday 8 p.m. spy drama Chaos off the schedule after just three episodes. Last Friday’s episode averaged 5.68 million viewers with a mere 1.0 rating/3 share among adults 18-49. There is no word at present what will replace it.

Canceled Fox sitcom Running Wilde, which failed to generate any interest out of Raising Hope earlier this season, is heading to FX. The cable net will air the final four episodes in the Thursday 10 p.m. half hour beginning on April 28.

TV Land, the rising home of original sitcoms, has announced a spinoff from Hot in Cleveland, which will return on June 15 with the next batch of 10 episodes from season two. The spinoff will revolve around the character of a minister played by comedian Cedric the Entertainer who finds himself comically involved in the characters played by Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick, and Betty White. Hot in Cleveland creator Suzanne Martin will also executive produce this project.

The new Cedric sitcom is expected to launch later in the year.  Also coming up at TV Land are sitcoms Happily Divorced with Fran Drescher; The Exes with Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche and Kristen Johnston; and a second season of Retired at 35.

A Classic Animated Pair Returns: Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are back in The Looney Tunes Show on Cartoon Network, which debuts on Tuesday, May 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.  Other classic animated characters returning are Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzalez, Yosemite Sam, the Tasmanian Devil, Pepe Le Pew, Tweety, and Sylvester.

Executive Shuffle: SmashPoint Creative Works chairman Maury Povich has announced the appointment of Ellen Davis to creative director at SmashPoint Creative Works.  Davis will oversee all On Air Promotions for NBC Universal’s Maury, The Jerry Springer Show, and The Steve Wilkos Show.  Most recently, Davis was a freelance promotion director at Fox News and Verizon Fios1 News.
