To ramp up its digital initiatives, Nexstar Broadcasting Group Tuesday (July 15) named Todd Porch to the position of senior vp of eMedia. Porch, the former senior director of Yahoo! Inc.’s North American advertising operations organization, will report to co-chief operating officer Brian Jones.
In his new position, Porch will oversee the company’s new media operations including its 28 local community Web portals and Nexstar’s eMedia teams in content, product, service and sales. He will also be responsible for exploring new Internet-related partnerships, third-party distribution agreements and revenue streams to capitalize on Nexstar’s position in mid-size TV markets.
