WNJU, NBC Universal’s owned-and-operated Telemundo station in New York, announced Friday (Oct. 30) a restructuring of its news operations to more efficiently produce news across multiple platforms. As part of the initiative, Jose Morales was named to the newly created position of vp of content.

In his new position, Morales will oversee the day-to-day operations of WNJU’s content center, both broadcast and digital.

“Jose brings a wealth of talent to the position, including a proven track record in both digital and production areas.
