MTVN Creates New Sales Post

NEW YORK MTV Networks’ Music & Logo Group has hired Christina Glorioso to be vp, sales and marketing partnerships for program enterprises, a new position.

New York-based Glorioso will focus her efforts on opportunities for virtual worlds, video games, direct-to-video and consumer music products. She will also work closely with MTVN’s ad sales and integrated marketing groups to develop new sponsorship models and expand advertising opportunities for its existing clients.

“Christina’s impressive marketing and sales knowledge across media, entertainment, music and sports make her a perfect fit for this new role,” said Jeff Yapp, evp, program enterprises, MTVN’s Music & Logo Group, to whom she reports.
