NEW YORK MTV Networks' Music & Logo Group has hired Christina Glorioso to be vp, sales and marketing partnerships for program enterprises, a new position.

New York-based Glorioso will focus her efforts on opportunities for virtual worlds, video games, direct-to-video and consumer music products. She will also work closely with MTVN's ad sales and integrated marketing groups to develop new sponsorship models and expand advertising opportunities for its existing clients.

"Christina's impressive marketing and sales knowledge across media, entertainment, music and sports make her a perfect fit for this new role," said Jeff Yapp, evp, program enterprises, MTVN's Music & Logo Group, to whom she reports. "As we continue to identify new platforms for our brands to expand in, Christina and our advertising and marketing teams will work hand in hand to foster new business opportunities."

Glorioso had been working in the MTVN Brand Solutions Group. There, she managed several marketing media campaigns and strategic relationships, including Wal-Mart, AT&T and Chrysler. She originally joined Viacom through CBS Radio.

Before joining Viacom, Glorioso worked in corporate marketing sales at Clear Channel Entertainment (now Live Nation) and SFX Sports.
