mSpot Surpasses 4 Million Subs

mSpot, an entertainment audio and video service for mobile phones, has surpassed 4 million subscribers, the company announced Wednesday (July 30).

In addition to its preexisting relationships with Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost and Canadian Bell Mobility and TELUS, mSpot has signed new carrier partnerships with AT&T and Alltel.

Founded in 2004, mSpot has content deals with a number of the nation’s largest programmers and media companies such as ABC, Clear Channel, Fox Sports, National Public Radio, Paramount Pictures, Disney, as well as the major music labels and many independent music labels.
