Modern Family Sold to Fox Stations

Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television have reached an agreement for the broadcast syndication rights to Twentieth Century Fox Television’s Emmy Award–winning sitcom Modern Family.

Slated to debut in fall 2013, Modern Family has been sold to the Fox Television Stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Houston, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Baltimore.

“On the heels of The Big Bang Theory and Dr. Oz, the acquisition of Modern Family ensures the continuing flow of A-level hit product to the Fox Stations,” said Frank Cicha, svp of programming, Fox Television Stations.

Modern Family’s sale to the Fox Television Stations comes in addition to the previously announced cable syndication deal, also beginning in fall 2013, with USA Network.
