After another disappointing development season that resulted in clunkers such as Knight Rider, Kath & Kim, and Crusoe, NBC finds itself in an ever-deepening ratings hole.
And following a corporate restructure late last year that saw the exit of a number of creative executives both at NBC and Universal Media Studios, not to mention the decision to replace the network’s 10 p.m. dramas with a Jay Leno-hosted talk show next season, NBC’s strategy to remedy its woes seems, well, scattershot, at best.
