NBC Universal's Bravo network may have lost its flagship contest series Project Runway, but the cable net seems determined to carry on without it.

Last month, The Real Housewives of Atlanta's second cycle premiere drew nearly 4 million viewers. It was the highest-rated premiere of all the franchise's editions. The cable network also earned 12 prime-time Emmy nominations, including nods for Outstanding Reality Competition program (Top Chef, Project Runway) and Outstanding Reality Program (Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List). Bravo also celebrated its highest rated second quarter ever among total viewers and viewers 18-49.

At the TV Critics Association's annual summer press tour, Mediaweek's Alan Frutkin sat down with Frances Berwick, Bravo's executive vp and general manager, to discuss the cable net's past, present and future.
