But never has a makeover show focused on participants as young as the young women on The CW’s summer series, Plain Jane, premiering July 28.
 
Hosted by Louise Roe, a British-born fashion journalist and TV personality, the six-episode series takes a half-dozen young female wallflowers and helps them to blossom—of course, all of it taking place in front of the cameras.
