McConnell Exits ABC Radio Networks

John McConnell, senior vp of programming for ABC Radio Networks, is leaving the company after 19 years.  His last day in the office will be Friday (October 23).

McConnell’s history with ABC includes positions as news director and program director of Talk KGO-AM in San Francisco, VP of ABC News, corporate program director of ABC’s News/Talk stations, and head of ESPN Radio. “I have had a blast,” McConnell said.

McConnell said he has a few projects in the works but is looking for his next adventure.
