NEW YORK Jeff Weiner is going to have to update his LinkedIn profile. Named interim president in January 2008, he was promoted to CEO today. Weiner has also joined the company’s board of directors.
In his role as CEO, Weiner will work beside founder Reid Hoffman, who will remain LinkedIn’s executive chairman.
Since arriving early last year, Weiner has managed all of LinkedIn’s business operations and has helped to define the company’s advancement on a global scale.
