Warner Bros. court strip Judge Jeanine Pirro, which currently airs on The CW in daytime, has been cleared in 75 percent of the country for first-run syndication next fall.
Judge Jeanine Pirro will move to the Fox-owned stations in the group’s nine duopoly markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and Baltimore. And it will air on stations in the Sinclair Group in 27 markets, including Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Milwaukee and Raleigh-Durham; and on affiliates from CBS Television Stations, Belo, ComCorp, Four Points Media Group, Journal Broadcast Group, LIN TV, Meredith, Newport Television, Raycom Media, Scripps-Howard and Tribune.
“From the moment Jeanine premiered on The CW, we have received calls from stations asking us to bring her into syndication,” said Ken Werner, president of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. “This keen interest in Pirro from the station community has been building momentum over the last year, and we are thrilled that our partners at the Fox Television Stations, who are renowned for bringing top-tier court programming to viewers, have chosen to make the Fox stations the new home for Pirro starting in fall 2009.”
