Journal Broadcast Consolidates Digital to Single Unit

Stepping up its digital media initiatives, Journal Broadcast Group announced Tuesday (Aug. 5) it has consolidated its efforts under one unit headed by Jim Thomas as vp of marketing, programming and interactive media. Thomas was most recently the TV group’s vp of marketing, programming and new media development.

“We’re determined to continue building our digital products and business focused within our local market strategy,” said Doug Kiel, vice chairman and CEO. “We think connecting our programming, interactive and marketing efforts under a strategic leader like Jim will advance this process.”
