CNN Worldwide's Jeff Zucker has poached Michael Bass, a co-executive producer for Katie Couric's Disney-ABC talk show, which formerly employed Zucker and in which he still has ownership interests, according to The New York Times.
Zucker brought Bass to Katie, where they worked together until Zucker left to become president of CNN Worldwide at the end of last year. They've been colleagues since they both worked at the Today Show. Bass will now report to Zucker as svp of CNN Worldwide.
