=Don Imus on Tuesday (June 24) responded to the latest allegations of racism leveled at him over his comments during Monday’s show about Dallas Cowboy’s cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones. Imus said his remarks were meant to indicate that Jones was being picked on because he was black.

In an on-air exchange on Monday, Imus reacted to sportscaster Warner Wolf’s discussion about Jones’ six arrests, with: “What color is he?” When Wolf responded, “He’s African-American,” Imus said, “There you go.
